柬埔寨柴桢省执法人员突袭涉网诈场所抓获10名越南籍嫌疑人

近日，柴桢省执法部门对巴域市巴域县塔贝村10栋疑似从事网络诈骗活动的公寓楼开展突袭。行动中，执法人员对场所进行检查，发现了29名中国籍人员和19名越南籍人员，并拘留10名涉嫌参与诈骗活动的越南籍人员，查获12部手机、12台电脑及10本护照。

Cambodia Authorities Raid Online Fraud Sites in Svay Rieng, Arrest 10 Vietnamese Nationals

Recently, Svay Rieng law enforcement authorities conducted a raid on 10 apartment buildings suspected of hosting cyber fraud operations in Tabep Village, Bavet Commune, Bavet City. During the operation, officers inspected the premises and identified 29 Chinese nationals and 19 Vietnamese nationals, detained 10 Vietnamese nationals suspected of involvement in scam operations, and seized 12 mobile phones, 12 computers, and 10 passports.

Cambodian Authorities Raid Online Scam Site in Poipet, Arrest 37 Indonesian Nationals

On September 11, authorities in Cambodia’s Banteay Meanchey Province raided an online scam site in Poipet City and arrested 37 Indonesian nationals, including 15 women. The site consisted of 11 two-story adjoining houses with a total of 42 rooms. Police seized 62 all-in-one computers, 12 mobile phones and two computer towers.

近日，三明警方组织100余名警力开展集中收网行动，成功捣毁1处跨境电信网络诈骗窝点，当场抓获犯罪嫌疑人76名，查获涉案手机107部、电脑90台以及诈骗话术等大量作案工具。

经查，该团伙通过境外社交软件虚构人设，以发放补助金为由，骗取境外受害人开办银行卡用于“跑分”活动，同时要求受害人预缴补助金“手续费”。

Sanming Police in Fujian Bust Cross-Border Telecom Fraud Den, Arrest 76

Recently, Sanming police organized over 100 officers for a coordinated operation, successfully dismantling a cross-border telecom and online fraud den, arresting 76 suspects, seizing 107 mobile phones, 90 computers, and a large quantity of fraud scripts and other scam tools at the scene.

Investigation revealed the gang used overseas social media apps to fabricate identities, luring overseas victims with promises of subsidies to open bank cards for "running points," while also requiring victims to prepay subsidy "handling fees" .

香港海关侦破两宗机场贩毒案检获约9公斤疑似大麻

Hong Kong Customs Uncovers 2 Drug Trafficking Cases At Airport, Seizes About 9 Kilograms of Suspected Cannabis

Hong Kong Customs uncovered two drug trafficking cases involving arriving air passengers at Hong Kong International Airport on September 12 and 13. Officers seized about 9 kilograms of suspected cannabis with an estimated market value of about 1.8 million HKD (approximately 229,500 USD).

In the first case, a 33-year-old Malaysian woman arrived from Bangkok, Thailand. Customs officers found about 8 kilograms of suspected cannabis in her checked baggage and arrested her. The second case involved a 52-year-old mainland Chinese man who also arrived from Bangkok. Customs officers found about 1 kilogram of suspected cannabis in his checked baggage and arrested him. Both cases remain in the process of investigation, and Customs warned the public not to participate in drug trafficking for financial gain.

老挝警方捣毁3处网络诈骗及赌博窝点抓获25名涉案人员

9月9日至10日，老挝万象市公安局刑事侦查处联合经济警察处，根据群众举报采取突击搜查行动，在锡科达崩县和西沙达那县成功打掉3处网络诈骗及非法网络赌博窝点，抓获共25名嫌疑人。

在锡科达崩县朴唐村，警方抓获中国籍犯罪嫌疑人15名（含1名女性），当场查获手机38部、台式电脑23台、笔记本电脑4台、“Yaba”毒品片剂25粒及其他涉案物品。

在西沙达那县通康村的两栋出租屋中，警方共抓获泰国籍犯罪嫌疑人10名（含6名女性）。现场查获笔记本电脑5台、台式电脑显示器1台、平板电脑7台、手机11部及电动摩托车4辆。

Lao Police Bust 3 Online Fraud and Gambling Dens, Arresting 25 Suspects

From September 9 to 10, acting on public tip-offs, a joint force from the Criminal Investigation Department and Economic Police Department of Vientiane Public Security Headquarters conducted raid operations in Sikhottabong and Sisattanak districts, successfully busting 3 online fraud and illegal online gambling dens, with a total of 25 suspects arrested.

At the location in Pak Thang Village, Sikhottabong District, police arrested 15 Chinese suspects (including 1 woman) and seized 38 mobile phones, 23 desktop computers, 4 laptops, 25 Yaba tablets, and other related items on the spot.

At two rented houses in Thong Kang Village, Sisattanak District, police arrested a total of 10 Thai suspects (including 6 women). Officers seized 5 laptops, 1 desktop monitor, 7 tablets, 11 mobile phones, and 4 electric motorcycles at the scene.

Laos Hands Over 98 Chinese Cybercrime Suspects to Chinese Police

On September 14, the Lao Ministry of Public Security handed over 98 Chinese cybercrime suspects, including 6 women, to Chinese police at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane. Lao authorities also transferred 50 mobile phones, 50 desktop computers and other items linked to the cases. According to Lao authorities, police arrested the 98 suspects during earlier operations targeting cybercrime and online gambling groups.

Myanmar Commemorates 14th Anti-Trafficking in Persons Day, Releasing 2026 Enforcement Figures
On September 13, according to a report by Myanmar International TV (MITV), Union Minister for Home Affairs Lieutenant General Nyunt Win Swe, serving as Chairperson of the Central Body for Prevention and Suppression of Trafficking in Persons, delivered an official address commemorating the 14th Myanmar Anti-Trafficking in Persons Day.
In the address, the Union Minister highlighted the country's anti-trafficking efforts as a national responsibility and underscored ongoing engagement with international and regional frameworks. These include the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNCTOC), the ASEAN Convention Against Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children (ACTIP), the Coordinated Mekong Ministerial Initiative against Trafficking (COMMIT), the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), the Bali Process, the Lancang-Mekong Integrated Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation Centre (LMLECC), and the ASEAN Multi-Sectoral Work Plan (2023-2028), encompassing the Bohol TIP Work Plan 2.0.
The address noted that from January 2026 to date, legal penalties have been imposed on 122 offenders across 69 convicted cases under the Prevention and Suppression of Trafficking in Persons Law.

Myanmar Seizes 302,000 Stimulant Tablets in Kalay and Hline Townships

On September 10, a combined team from the Drug Enforcement Division searched a car near Hlinethaya Ward in Kalay and seized 290,000 stimulant tablets (worth 725 million MMK, approximately 345,000 USD) and 200,000 MMK in cash (approximately 95 USD), arresting a suspect. On September 11, authorities arrested a suspect who received the tablets at a residence in Hlinethaya Ward, Kalay. On the same day, authorities stopped a pedestrian in Ward 5, Hline Township, and seized 12,000 stimulant tablets (worth 24 million MMK, approximately 11,400 USD), arresting a suspect.

缅甸仰光曼德勒抓获7名网络赌博嫌疑人

Myanmar Arrests 7 Suspects in Online Gambling Crackdown in Yangon, Mandalay

On September 2, authorities arrested a senior agent at Yangon International Airport with 2 mobile phones. They also arrested a senior agent and 2 other suspects at a house in Ward 5, PyinOoLwin, Mandalay Region, seizing 8 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 1 tablet and 1 vehicle. On September 4, authorities arrested a senior agent at the Mandarin Hotel in Hlinethaya Township with 2 mobile phones and 2 vehicles, and another senior agent at a house in Anawma-1 Ward, Thakayta Township, with 1 mobile phone.

A total of 7 suspects including 5 women were arrested. Authorities seized 13 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 1 tablet and 3 vehicles.

Thai Police Bust Cross-Border Drug Trafficking Network, Seize 640 Kilograms of Crystal Methamphetamine and 20 Kilograms of Ketamine

Between September 9 and 11, Thai police and drug control authorities cracked two cross-border drug trafficking cases, arresting three suspects and seizing 640 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 20 kilograms of ketamine. The traffickers used logistics companies to transport the drugs and disguised some shipments as motorcycle parts. Investigators found that most of the drugs entered Thailand through the northeastern region and that the network used the country as a transit point to fulfil overseas orders.

Thai Police Arrest Chinese Fugitive on the Run for 36 Years Under INTERPOL Red Notice

On September 12, Thai police and the Ministry of Interior arrested a Chinese suspect requested by an INTERPOL Red Notice in Chonburi Province. The wanted person, suspected of an intentional homicide case in China, had fled through Myanmar before entering Thailand illegally. He later assumed the identity of a Thai citizen and operated five companies. Authorities seized 11 plots of land, more than six vehicles and other assets worth approximately 89.5 million THB (approximately 2.70 million USD).

越南边防部队破获跨国偷渡大案抓捕5名越南籍组织者与15名中国公民

9月8日，据越南《边防报》报道，越南边防部队情报局牵头成立代号“XC726P”的专案组，联合多省市边防与公安力量实施两阶段跨省收网，成功捣毁一条自柬埔寨偷渡入境越南、跨省转运并企图借道北部边境偷渡回中国的跨国犯罪链条。行动共抓获5名越南籍涉案人员及15名中国公民，扣押涉案汽车5台、手机14部。

侦查表明，该跨国团伙组织外籍人员从柬埔寨偷渡进入越南西宁省等西南边境，随后沿南北走廊分段转运，企图前往老街、谅山、广宁等北部边境口岸偷越国境返回中国。犯罪分子依托社交软件接洽联络，频繁调换运送人员、交通工具及中转歇脚点以躲避查缉。专案组联合边防毒品与犯罪预防局，协同老街、谅山、广宁、海防、清化、岘港、庆和、胡志明市、同奈等省市边防力量及边防第38团展开全链条布控。

第一阶段收网行动：8月22日9时许，联合力量在庆和省云峰—芽庄高速公路Km295路段截获1名涉案运送人员及2名中国公民，查扣汽车1台；同日，在海防市宁江社一酒店内查扣另1名组织者及5名中国公民。第一阶段共查获越南籍嫌疑人2名、中国公民7名、涉案车辆3台及手机10部。经核查，自2026年4月起，该团伙累计实施近20次偷运，将约60名中国公民由西宁运至海防，每人收取运费250万至700万越南盾（折合约100至280美元）。

第二阶段收网行动：专案组锁定广宁省芒街边境转运通道。8月26日18时30分，办案人员在下龙—芒街高速收费站拦截抓获1名组织人员及2名中国公民；8月27日8时30分，在芒街市陈富坊一旅馆内查获藏匿的6名中国公民；8月28日，另有2名涉案嫌疑人向芒街国际口岸边防哨所自首。第二阶段共查获越南籍组织者3名、中国公民8名及涉案汽车2台。初步查明，该团伙自2026年7月以来组织偷渡13次，非法转运约75名中国公民。

供述显示，涉案中国公民多因在境外务工滞留或规避国内打击，企图借道越南潜返回国，全程非法出入境中介费用高达每人4000至5000美元。

Vietnam Border Guard Dismantles Transnational Smuggling Ring, Arresting 5 Facilitators and 15 Chinese Nationals

On September 8, according toBáo Biên phòng, the Intelligence Department of the Vietnam Border Guard Command, operating under Special Case XC726P, coordinated with multi-provincial Border Guard and police units across two operational phases to dismantle a transnational human smuggling syndicate. The network illicitly moved foreign nationals from Cambodia into Vietnam, transported them across multiple provinces, and arranged their illegal exit across the northern border into China. Authorities apprehended 5 Vietnamese facilitators and 15 Chinese nationals, seizing 5 vehicles and 14 mobile phones.

Investigations revealed that the ring orchestrated the illicit entry of foreign nationals across the southwestern border into Tay Ninh Province, transiting them along a north-south corridor to breach the northern border via Lao Cai, Lang Son, and Quang Ninh. The network relied on encrypted social media to coordinate pickups, compartmentalized transport legs, and continually swapped drivers, vehicles, and temporary lodgings to evade detection. The Intelligence Department mobilized the Anti-Drug and Crime Department, Border Guard Regiment 38, and local units across Lao Cai, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai.

Phase 1 operations: At approximately 9:00 AM on August 22, joint forces intercepted a vehicle at Km295 on the Van Phong–Nha Trang Expressway in Khanh Hoa Province, arresting 1 driver transporting 2 Chinese nationals and confiscating 1 vehicle. Concurrently, officers raided a hotel in Ninh Giang Commune, Hai Phong City, arresting another facilitator and 5 Chinese nationals. Phase 1 secured 2 Vietnamese facilitators, 7 Chinese nationals, 3 cars, and 10 mobile phones. Inquiries showed that since April 2026, the cell ran nearly 20 transit operations moving approximately 60 Chinese nationals from Tay Ninh to Hai Phong, charging 2.5 million to 7 million VND (approx. USD 100–280) per passenger.

Phase 2 operations: Task forces targeted extraction nodes in Mong Cai, Quang Ninh Province. At 6:30 PM on August 26, officers intercepted 1 facilitator and 2 Chinese nationals at the Ha Long–Mong Cai Expressway toll station. At 8:30 AM on August 27, forces apprehended 6 additional Chinese nationals harbored at a guesthouse in Tran Phu Ward, Mong Cai; 2 facilitators surrendered to the Mong Cai International Border Gate Guard Station on August 28. Phase 2 netted 3 Vietnamese facilitators, 8 Chinese nationals, and 2 cars. Since July 2026, this branch executed 13 runs, moving approximately 75 Chinese nationals toward the border.

Testimonies indicated that the apprehended Chinese nationals were primarily stranded overseas due to illicit work or seeking to evade enforcement crackdowns in their home country, paying facilitators between $4,000 and $5,000 per person to complete the unauthorized round-trip transit.
