柬埔寨国公省捣毁一处电信网络诈骗窝点 抓获9名嫌疑人
2026年9月8日，国公省执法部门突击搜查国公市一栋别墅，捣毁一处电信网络诈骗窝点，当场抓获9名中国籍嫌疑人。执法人员在现场查获11台笔记本电脑、49部手机等涉案物品。
据警方调查，该别墅业主为一名柬埔寨籍男子，经确认为国公省初级法院检察院秘书处官员。他自2025年底起将该别墅出租给中国籍嫌疑人。

Koh Kong Authorities Dismantle Telecom Fraud Den, Arrest 9 Chinese Nationals
On September 8, 2026, law enforcement authorities in Koh Kong Province conducted a raid on a villa in Koh Kong City, dismantling a telecom and online fraud den and arresting nine Chinese nationals on the spot. Officers seized 11 laptops, 49 mobile phones, and other exhibits at the scene.
According to police investigations, the villa is owned by a Cambodian national who serves as an official at the secretariat of the prosecutor's office of the Koh Kong Provincial Court. He had rented the villa to a Chinese suspect since the end of 2025.

柬埔寨吊销18家赌场牌照 清理600余处网诈窝点
截至9月，柬埔寨打击网络诈骗委员会表示，已吊销18家赌场营业执照，暂停9家赌场营业执照，并清理超过600处网络诈骗窝点。

Cambodian Authorities Revoke 18 Casino Licences Crack Down on 600 Scam Locations
As of September, the Commission for Combatting Online Scams (CCOS) stated that it had revoked the operating licences of 18 casinos, suspended the licences of 9 casinos, and cleared more than 600 online scam locations.
The Commission will fully cooperate with the Cambodian National Police (CNP), judicial police officers, prosecution institutions attached to provincial courts, provincial courts, the Cambodian Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), and other relevant competent authorities to take legal measures to seize, freeze, and confiscate the assets of the owners of locations and casino shareholders involved in cybercrime.

Guangzhou Customs Seizes 0.91 Kg of Cannabis
Recently, Guangzhou Customs supervised a transit express parcel declared as “children bowling toys” and spotted abnormal X-ray inspection images. Customs officers immediately intercepted the parcel and conducted further inspection. They found a packaging box for children’s bowling toys inside the parcel. Eight packs of green plant-like products wrapped in silver plastic bags lay inside the box and gave off a strong pungent smell. Professional testing agencies examined the suspicious items and confirmed them as narcotic cannabis, which weighs 0.91?kg.

9月8日，老挝博胶省人民法院初级刑事法庭开庭审理并公开宣判了3起特大涉毒案件，依法判处4名涉案被告人死刑。
第1起案件中，1名被告人因犯贩卖毒品罪被判处死刑，执法人员在其案件中查获各类毒品总重5.8公斤；第2起案件中，2名被告人因犯运输毒品罪，均被判处死刑，执法人员在其案件中查获180公斤麻古；第3起案件中，被告人因犯运输毒品罪被判处死刑，警方在其案件中查获各类毒品5.7公斤。

Bokeo Provincial People's Court in Laos Tries 3 Major Drug Cases, Sentences 4 Defendants to Death
On September 8, the Criminal Court of First Instance of the Bokeo Provincial People's Court in Laos publicly tried and delivered verdicts on 3 major drug-related cases, lawfully sentencing 4 defendants to death.
In the first case, 1 defendant was sentenced to death for drug trafficking, with law enforcement seizing a total of 5.8 kg of various illicit drugs. In the second case, 2 defendants were both sentenced to death for the conviction of drug transportation, with authorities seizing 180 kg of yaba. In the third case, 1 defendant was sentenced to death for drug transportation, with police seizing a total of 5.7 kg of various illicit drugs.

缅甸Pyawbwe镇区查获逾86万片兴奋剂药片
9月4日，缅甸禁毒警察部队联合小组在Pyawbwe镇区Seick Cho村组Kansway村附近Pyawbwe-Natmauk公路拦截1辆汽车，查获兴奋剂药片869000片（价值13.035亿缅元，折合约62.1万美元），抓获2名嫌疑人。

Myanmar Seizes Over 860,000 Stimulant Tablets in Pyawbwe Township
On September 4, a joint team from the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped a vehicle on the Pyawbwe-Natmauk road near Kansway Village, Seick Cho Village Tract, Pyawbwe Township, and seized 869,000 stimulant tablets (worth 1.3035 billion MMK, approximately 621,000 USD), arresting 2 suspects.
Follow-up investigations led to the arrest of 6 more suspects in Meiktila Township, at Milepost 115 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway, Yamethin Township and Pyay Township, with 194 stimulant tablets (worth 388,000 MMK, approximately 185 USD), 9,171,500 MMK in cash (approximately 4,400 USD), and several vehicles seized. The drugs were transported from Kalaw Township in southern Shan State to Yamethin, then from Yamethin to Aunglan, and onward to Ann Township and Maungdaw in Rakhine State, before being transported to a neighboring country by members of the AA terrorist organization. A total of 8 suspects were arrested in this case, while 5 others remain at large.

Thai Police Seize 600,000 Methamphetamine Tablets
On September 9, two men in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand, drove a pickup truck to a local parcel shop and attempted to ship 5 large cardboard boxes, falsely claiming they contained honey. The parcel shop owner noticed the abnormal weight of the packages and immediately called the police. The suspects fled in separate directions, but local district and village officials led personnel to assist police in surrounding and arresting them. Upon opening the boxes, officers seized a total of 600,000 methamphetamine tablets.

泰国素辇府警方侦破土地税电信诈骗案

Surin Police Bust Land Tax Telecom Scam
On September 7, a 64-year-old female victim in Surin Province, Thailand, received a call from a telecom scam gang. Posing as municipal staff, the fraudsters falsely claimed the victim owed land and building taxes, induced her to add a LINE contact, and defrauded her of a total of 2.009 million THB (approximately 61,074 USD) in 2 separate transfers, among which 2 million THB (approximately 60,800 USD) was intercepted by the bank during the withdrawal. Bank staff spotted abnormal transactions on the involved account and immediately called the police. Officers arrested 2 suspects who were attempting to take out the cash at the scene, recovering 1 million THB (approximately 30,400 USD). The withdrawal of the other 1 million THB (approximately 30,400 USD) has been suspended, and the funds are expected to be returned to the victim within 1 month.

Vietnamese Police Dismantle a Major Transnational Online Gambling Ring
Recently, Vietnamese police successfully dismantled a major transnational online gambling ring. According to the investigation, between June 2024 and September 2025, the ring split the master agent account of the Kubet gambling platform into multiple sub-accounts, raised the markup on point conversions, and organized football betting and online gambling by advancing points credit. The total amount involved in the case exceeded 88 billion VND (approximately 3.4 million USD).
