LMLECC Conducts Field Mission to Myanmar for "Safe Lancang-Mekong 2026" Joint Operation
8月24日至28日，澜湄执法合作中心副秘书长李大吴率工作组赴缅甸，实地调研“平安澜湄2026”联合行动工作进展。泰国皇家警察一名警务专家应邀参与联合调研。From August 24 to 28, an LMLECC working group led by Deputy Secretary-General Mr. Davuth Ly visited Myanmar to conduct a field research mission on the progress of the "Safe Lancang-Mekong 2026" Joint Operation. A senior police expert from Royal Thai Police was invited to participate in the joint mission.
工作组首先在内比都会见缅甸警察总部第一副总监温博少将，随后与缅甸警察总部禁毒局、反人口贩运局、刑侦局及打击跨国犯罪局等部门会谈，研判电信网络诈骗、毒品贩运及人口贩运等犯罪态势，总结涉诈园区与窝点治理成果，并就完善常态化多边执法合作机制深入交换意见。期间，工作组向中心设在缅甸警察总部的国家联络办公室移交一批办公设备。
The working group first held a meeting with Police Major General Win Bo, No. 1 Deputy Chief of Myanmar Police Foce, in Nay Pyi Taw, and subsequently conducted discussions with departments responsible for drug enforcement, anti-human trafficking, criminal investigation, and transnational crime. Both sides jointly analyzed crime trends—particularly telecommunications and online fraud, drug trafficking and human trafficking—reviewed achievements of the clearance of fraud compounds and dens, and exchanged views in depth on refining regularized multilateral cooperation mechanisms. Meanwhile, a batch of office equipment was handed over to the LMLECC National Liaison Unit (NLU) at Myanmar Police Force Headquarters.
在缅期间，工作组在内比都走访缅甸刑侦局司法物证鉴定中心，实地考察电子物证提取与刑事技术应用；赴勃固省考察鸟卡谢综合检查站，深入了解一线违禁品查缉查验与装备运维保障需求；赴仰光省实地踏查查获的涉诈窝点，听取缅方对窝点清剿、作案手段及涉案通信设备扣押情况的现场介绍，并就现场勘验与处置流程深入交流。During the mission, the working group visited the Department of Forensic Laboratory under the Criminal Investigation Department in Nay Pyi Taw, to assess digital evidence extraction and forensic practices; traveled to Bago Region to inspect the Nyaung Khar Shey Permanent Checkpoint, gaining insights into frontline contraband interdiction procedures and equipment maintenance needs; and visited seized fraud dens in Yangon to receive on-site briefings on raid operations, operational modus operandi, and the seizure of communication devices, followed by in-depth exchanges on crime scene investigation and follow-up disposal procedures.
