LMLECC Holds Work Summary Meeting for Liaison Officers of Joint Operation "Safe Lancang-Mekong 2026"

7月30日下午，澜湄执法合作中心举行“平安澜湄2026”联合行动联络员工作总结与交流会议。中心副秘书长翁赛·潘塔翁出席会议并讲话。

On the afternoon of July 30, the Lancang-Mekong Integrated Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation Center (LMLECC) held the Work Summary and Exchange Meeting for Liaison Officers (LOs) of Joint Operation "Safe Lancang-Mekong 2026". DSG Mr. Vongxay PHANTHAVONG attended the meeting and delivered closing remarks.

即将离任的柬埔寨联络员瑟雷·普提塞特 万与老挝联络员张山汇报了近4个月的工作成果，并结合工作实际，就深化信息共享和完善联合行动协作机制提出了建议。履职期间，联络员积极协助推进跨国案事件协查、逃犯定位追踪、人员遣返及受害人救助，为打击电信网络诈骗、人口贩运及毒品贩运提供了有力支撑。

During the meeting, the outgoing LOs from Cambodia (Mr. Serey Puthiseth VAN) and Laos (Mr. Khampasit) reported on their achievements over the past four months. They also offered practical suggestions on deepening information sharing and optimizing the joint operation mechanism. During their tenure, the LOs actively facilitated cross-border case inquiries, fugitive tracing, suspect deportation, and victim rescue, providing crucial support for combating telecom and online fraud,human trafficking, and drug trafficking. 

翁赛·潘塔翁副秘书长对联络员的贡献给予充分肯定，并对下一阶段工作提出要求：一是联合行动各项工作持续聚焦打击电诈、人口贩运及毒品贩运三类重点跨国犯罪；二是建立“一对一”帮带机制，帮助新到任联络员提升履职能力；三是完善常态化例会与年终考评激励机制，进一步凝聚执法协作合力。

DSG Mr. Vongxay PHANTHAVONG commended the LOs for their contributions and outlined requirements for the next phase: First, the joint operation shall continue focusing on the crackdown on three major transnational crimes—telecom and online fraud, human trafficking, and drug trafficking. Second, establish a "one-on-one" mentorship system to help newly arrived LOs enhance their operational capacity. Third, refine regular meeting and year-end evaluation and incentive mechanisms to further boost joint law enforcement synergy.
